    One thing I have noticed.

The most blocked malware I have had on my anti virus comes from Facebook. Too many of their links, whether to some site for retail or news or comment -- is loaded with malware.

In a way, pretty sad -- I find less malware on the free porn sites than on Facebook.

  2. Whatever advertisers give Zookerberg the most money will be allowed to be on FB. Just go with Adblock Pro for starters.

It's all been blocked with my Norton.

I just can't believe how much FB spreads such crap.

I have to agree with you Lefty, my Norton's has blocked more stuff from FB than anywhere else, you really have to be careful what you click on.

  8. FB has some cool social groups and you can get promo codes for places you shop at. That's all it is useful for.

I just downloaded an extension for Chrome called FB Purity which filters out all the junk you don't want to see.

    It does.

I have found FB pretty good as a way to keep in touch with first, second, and amazingly enough (at least in my own mind) third cousins. I lose track. Without it, I ordinarily would not have the same contact.
