Welcome to the Office of Mayor Frank Hague!

Visit here for political commentary and insights from one of New Jersey's greatest politicians.

Boss Tweed and Mayor Daley had nothing on Mayor Hague when it came to running the machine.

The Mayor looks forward to commentary, advice, envelopes and voters.

The Mayor is not amused by a copycatter from the grave.:devilish:

Frederick Douglass Opens Twitter Account from Beyond the Grave to Troll President Trump

Soooo, ummm . . . President Trump just described Frederick Douglass at a Black History Month Event as follows:

"Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice."

In response, the famed ex-slave-turned-abolitionist, suffragist, author, editor, and diplomat--who died in 1895--opened a Twitter account from the site of his interment at the Douglass family plot at Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, NY.

In today's volatile world and volatile markets, the Mayor believes Cash Is King for your investing.

Mayor Hague has a widely known reputation for corruption and bossism and has been called "the grandaddy of Jersey bosses."

By the time he left office in 1947, he enjoyed palatial homes, European vacations, and a private suite at the Plaza Hotel.

His wealth has been estimated to have been over $10 million at the time of his death, although his City salary never exceeded $8,500 per year and he had no other legitimate source of income.

His desk, according to legend, had a specially designed lap drawer which could be pushed outward towards the person with whom he was meeting.

This allowed his "guests" to discreetly deliver bribes in the form of envelopes containing large amounts of cash.

Nice racket for an $8,500 a year salary.

Democrat Frank Hague was mayor of Jersey City for thirty years from 1917 to 1947. His level of corruption and graft have probably not been equaled by any other politician before or since. His pride and joy was Jersey City Medical Center which he began building almost immediately upon taking office. A beautiful building, it operated in the red for its entire life span.

The Mayor appreciates your support and promises to invite you to his mansion in Deal, NJ when the weather starts to improve.

Recent reports indicate that 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump will be visiting the offices of @njlefty with an envelope filled with cash for Mayor Hague. Speculation as to whether the envelope is to perpetrate voter fraud on Trump's behalf for mid term elections, or investigate voter fraud in the 2016 election, is running rampant. One thing is for sure, if the envelope is appropriately filled, Donald Trump will get his moneys worth.

Frank Hague was expelled from school in the sixth grade as a troublemaker and never returned.

The Mayor has indicated to me he would like to be able to advise President Trump on healthcare matters.

When he completed it, the Jersey City Hospital was the third largest in the nation.

    The Mayor knows healthcare.

The Mayor called from Miami and indicated he supports John McCain in this.

"The Aussies are one of Jersey City's oldest and most valued friends," the Mayor said.

John McCain calls Australian official to reassure him that US remains ally after Trump’s blowup

The president is like the guy riding a gleaming stallion in a parade. Congress and Senate have been reduced to the crew with the shovels who walk behind him cleaning up his shit.

    The Mayor is bemused.

Despite having a temper himself, the Mayor did many calls with staff around and never hung up on an ally.

Hasn't been much different for the past 6 years. And adding insult to the injury of the American people is the indisputable fact that Congress was firmly in the hands of the opposition party!

The Mayor told me once that he considered the Tammany Hall crew to be "rank amateurs."

They did not have the necessary cash flow for a permanent suite at the Plaza Hotel and no one ever mistook that crew for dictators. The Mayor was the Law.
